Winter brings cold nights—the perfect time to cozy up with a warm cup of herbal tea and a little more time at the desk.
For me as a Christian writer, these quiet moments help me slow down and let creativity flow naturally.
Personal Business
With the season’s change, I’ve been under the weather, which has nudged me toward more personal, restorative time. I believe our bodies are temples, gifts to honor God, even in how we care for ourselves and create.
Lately, I’ve been diving into Medical Medium protocols aimed at healing, and I wonder if this might be part of a “healing crisis” in that journey.
Winter naturally slows me down, but I’m willing to embrace this season of regeneration. Moving forward with this blend of rest and creativity brings me so much joy and fulfillment in my walk as a Christian.
I’ve been experimenting with some new herbs like California poppy and doing MM brain shots. The improvements in my digestion have been remarkable, offering a sense of relief and encouragement.
Mindful naps and pilate classes have also been incredibly supportive, especially since I steer clear of coffee and energy drinks. I guess you could say I’m a naturopathic purist!
My retail job covers the bills, but it’s draining, especially with the need to work Sundays for extra pay in today’s economy.
Still, I’m reminded to place my trust in God for my finances—to believe that one day I’ll have enough to invest in an editor and launch my book without worry or working Sundays.
I have faith that He’ll guide me toward greener pastures, where I can devote more time to writing, naturopathy, and my spiritual journey.
Writing News
I’m excited to be 70% through the fifth draft of Blade of Dragons! Once this revision is done, I’ll move on to editing Dawn of Dragons, the prologue to Blade of Dragons, which will eventually be part of my mailing list (once I get that set up). I’m confident the reader magnet will help attract new readers and fans.
The editing process has given me new perspective on my main characters—Pepper, Tarie, and Gerald. Each has their strengths and flaws, and with every revision, I’m deepening their personalities. They read much better now than they did a year ago.
Progress on Ethereal Seals has been slower than I expected, but it’s still satisfying. I know it will be an enjoyable read once finished. And through it all, I’m reminded that no great feat is possible without the grace of God. With His guidance, I create, weaving stories and worlds together.
Spiritual Insights
It’s curious that, as a Christian author, I’ve come across a handful of Bible verses as I research for my writing. One search result comes to mind: Ephesians 4:29, which mentions purity of speech. That’s something we could all use right now, the way the world has been with the elctions, wars, and unrest.
I make it a daily habit to commit to God through prayer and meditation, grounding myself and praying for peace. Humanity’s regeneration and empowerment are always on my mind. Writing feels like a way to share inspiring energy, a chance to help people rise up and feel empowered.
Website News
With my busy schedule, I haven’t yet given this website the time it deserves, but I’m excited to bring it to life once I’m through with my editing passes and other life business.
Here’s what you can expect when it’s fully established:
- A hub for updates on the Ethereal Seals series
- A helpful resource for authors, Christians, and truth-seekers exploring naturopathic healing
- Personal insights, reflections, and more
Right now, this site is still in its infancy. But once I dive into it, I’ll transform it into something truly impactful. I’m looking forward to that day—and hope you are too.
Thanks for reading, everyone!
