Christian Fantasy Author
Maker of Maps & Sacred Realms
Born in the northeast with Asperger’s syndrome, Edward grew up surrounded by hiking trails, quiet lakes, and the rich imagination sparked by his father’s fantasy library. In childhood, he faced serious medical conditions that nearly took his life. After college, a long stretch of unemployment inspired him to revisit a childhood dream: writing fiction.
Drawing on his background in geospatial mapping, Ed began designing intricate fantasy worlds with programs like Wonderdraft. He also took on retail work to fund his goal of becoming a published YA military science fantasy author—creating stories that resonate with neurodivergent readers like himself.
Years later, another health setback became a turning point. During recovery, Ed deepened his passions for YA Christian sci-fi, fantasy, mapmaking, and his faith. He found healing through books, nature, and spiritual practices, exploring topics like yoga, hiking, meditation, and the holistic teachings of the Medical Medium series. Celery juice remains a staple in his mornings.
Now, Ed is preparing Blade of Dragons—his first full-length novel in the Ethereal Seals universe—for editor review. He’s also published short stories and poetry through Havok Publishing. Every step has brought him closer to his calling: crafting stories of transformation, wonder, and purpose.
“I write fantastical stories and build immersive worlds that inspire and empower readers, while ultimately glorifying God.”
