Christian author, philosopher, herbalist

Ed R White

Few writers and artists understand the relationship between creativity and health. The intricate cycle of brain power, creative soul, and effort that built Edward Ryan White—author of the Ethereal Seals series.

Born in the northeast, Ed grew up around hiking trails, lakes, and his father’s fantasy book library. At age four, he suffered from several medical complications that almost killed him. After college, unemployment drove Ed to pursue a childhood passion: writing fantasy. Using his background in geospatial mapping systems, he developed a hobby for fantasy map creation using programs like Wonderdraft. He also started working retail to build up enough money to publish his works. Years later, another illness crippled him.

While healing, Ed pursued his love for herbal medicine, creative fiction and mapmaking, and God. His passion for steampunk and high fantasy grew as he reread books like the Lord of the Rings, Eragon, and Dragonlance, which inspired many of his initial works. He also developed interests in yoga, hiking, meditation, and healing protocols as seen in the Medical Medium series by Anthony William. Celery juice is a staple of Ed’smornings.

Ed has the rough manuscript for his first book baby, Blade of Dragons, almost completed for editor review. He’s written some short stories of Ethereal Seals, plus some poetry and fiction on Havok Publishing.

Mission Statement

  • Honoring God with excellent storytelling.
  • Empowering others through creativity and philosophy.
  • Restoring the creative soul through herbal wisdom.

The world is hungry for good stories, tales that inspire readers and lift them to new heights. To give hope to a world that grows darker by the decade. Ed is passionate about empowering readers and seeding lessons into each story. He sees the Hero’s Journey as intrinsic to humanity’s own story. For as the Hero resurrects after near-death, so do we ascend. Ed has studied storytelling, mapmaking, spirituality, and herbal medicine for decades. He weaves a medium for readers to enjoy while feeding their soul.
