YA Science Fantasy
Author and Geofiction Artist
Ed R White
Born in the northeast with Asperger’s syndrome, Edward grew up around hiking trails, lakes, and his father’s library, where his passion for science fantasy and worldbuilding grew. In childhood, he suffered from several medical complications that almost killed him. After college, unemployment drove Ed to pursue a childhood passion: writing fiction. Using his background in geospatial mapping systems, he developed a side hobby for fantasy map creation using programs like Wonderdraft. He also started working retail to build up enough money to become a published YA military science fantasy author, which caters to aspie readers like him. Years later, another illness crippled Edward.
While healing, Ed pursued his love for YA science fantasy, mapmaking, and God. His passion for YA fantasy books, military scifi, steampunk, and high fantasy strengthened as he devoured books like the Lord of the Rings, Eragon, Dune, and Dragonlance. He also developed interests in yoga, hiking, meditation, and healing protocols as seen in the Medical Medium series by Anthony William. Celery juice is a staple of Ed’s mornings.
Ed has the rough manuscript for his first book baby, Blade of Dragons, almost completed for editor review. He’s written some short stories of Ethereal Seals, plus some poetry and fiction on Havok Publishing, which has built towards his dream of a YA science fantasy author.
